Role & responsibilities

Role - Safety Officer

Required Qualification - ADIS (From State council)

Preferred candidate profile

Preparing Safe Work Methodology /Job Safety Analysis as per requirement.
Ensure the safety standards and policy of the company at work site.
Providing advice and guidance on health and safety standards.
Implementing work permit system of high-risk activities.
Ensuring the competency of the equipment and operators working at plant.
Ensuring that fire and safety equipments are provided and maintained at site.
Routine/specific site safety inspection.
Accident/incident reporting and co-operate with the investigation team.
Conducting safety meeting and induction training with new employees.
Support the development of OHS policies and program.
Advise and instruct on various safety related topics (Noise, Levels, use of machinery).
Conduct Risk assessment and enforce preventative measure.
Check any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Investigating & Recording incident to determine causes.
Conduct periodically Safety committee meeting.
Conduct periodically Mock drill.
Conduct daily Tools meeting.
Area wise PPE assessment.
PPEs destitute.
Maintained other legal requirement (Fire license, Fire NOC).
Safety Induction Process.
Work Permitted System.
Confined Space Entry.
Conducting Training of Industrial safety, Fire Safety, on site emergency plan and Emergency Control.
