Safety Officer for Gulf

As a Safety Officer at Zenith Recruitment & Visa Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees by developing and implementing safety policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular safety audits, identifying potential hazards, and assessing risks in the workplace. It will be your duty to ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations while investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes. Collaborating with management to improve workplace safety and providing training and guidance on safety practices to employees will be essential aspects of your role. You will also be responsible for maintaining safety records accurately, organizing emergency response drills, and serving as a liaison between management and regulatory bodies. Monitoring and analyzing safety performance metrics, as well as staying updated on changes in safety legislation and best practices, will be key elements of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety officer role. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and practices, as well as certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH, are preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential qualifications for this position. Your commitment to safety and environmental standards, along with your proficiency in MS Office Suite, will be crucial in preparing clear reports and documentation. Experience in conducting safety training programs, knowledge of emergency management procedures, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly are also valuable skills for this role. Additionally, having first aid and CPR certification, as well as a willingness to travel to various job sites, will be advantageous in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.,
