Job Description

HSE Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments at sites or facilities.
Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement control measures to mitigate them.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Prepare detailed reports and propose corrective actions.
Organize and conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety induction for new employees and contractors.
Prepare and submit HSE reports and documentation to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Promote safety awareness and behavioral safety among employees and contractors.
Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
Support environmental monitoring initiatives and waste management programs.
Liaise with regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.
Good knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
Strong communication and training skills.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in HSE management systems/software.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging environments.
