Position Safety Officer
Qualification 1) Diploma in Safety; preferably from reputed organisations like RLI ( OR)

• Diploma in Fire & Safety from reputed organisations (OR)
• NEBOSH certification.
  

Year of Experience Experience of around 5 to 6 years in industry, projects, service centers, exposure to construction and mining machinery preferable.
Languages English, Hindi and local language (Read, write and speak)Job ProfileResponsible for1 Regular shop/site visit to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and addressing them2 Conducting Monthly Safety Audit at workshops, Site and Dealers facilities as per schedule and reporting3 Conducting regular training on various topics on EH & S, maintaining training matrix and training details MoM4 Safety reporting through EHS online portal, excel/ word formats5 Developing SOPs, procedures & documentation6 Motivating for Improvements and Suggestions on EHS7 Ensuring Housekeeping as per 5S guidelines8 Ensuring PPE Compliance9 Ensuring Resource consumption monitoring and conservation initiatives10 Ensuring legal compliance and maintain documents.11 Operation and miniatous of STP/ETP and Fire hydrant system12 Incident/Accident /Near Miss/Unusual occurrence investigation, establishing countermeasures and reporting13 Issuing work permits for identified critical and non routine activities to ensure Safety14 Organising EHS competitions, celebration and observation of important EHS daysRecommended Skills1 Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 450012 Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)3 Good communication & presentation skills4 Good interpersonal skills5 Team working and assertiveness
