Job Summary:

As a SaaS Link Builder, you will be responsible for acquiring high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites within the SaaS, tech, and B2B ecosystem. You will execute white-hat outreach strategies, collaborate with content teams, and focus on building sustainable and scalable backlink profiles to improve our domain authority, rankings, and referral traffic.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute SaaS-specific link-building campaigns targeting relevant high-authority domains.
  • Conduct backlink gap analysis against competitors using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz.
  • Perform personalized outreach to founders, editors, journalists, bloggers, and SaaS directories.
  • Secure backlinks through strategies such as guest posting, resource page outreach, broken link building, and digital PR.
  • Collaborate with the content and product marketing teams to create link-worthy assets (blog posts, infographics, case studies, tools).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry publishers and content managers.
  • Monitor backlink profile health, disavow toxic links, and ensure alignment with Google’s link guidelines.
  • Maintain outreach databases and campaign reports to track efficiency and ROI.
  • Stay informed about SaaS trends, competitive landscape, and algorithm updates affecting B2B SEO.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in link building, preferably for SaaS or B2B tech companies.
  • Proven success in executing white-hat outreach and link acquisition strategies.
  • Strong understanding of off-page SEO, backlink metrics, and link quality evaluation.
  • Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, BuzzStream, Pitchbox, SEMrush, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional outreach.
  • Creative problem-solver with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines with minimal supervision.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in SaaS SEO, B2B content marketing, or agency-side SaaS campaigns.
  • Knowledge of digital PR, niche edits, and SaaS listing sites.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, WordPress, and technical SEO.
  • Understanding of topical authority and semantic content structures.
