Job Description

The Business Development Manager / Executive is responsible for researching, prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support the CTO & Presales team. You will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of identifying and developing new business prospects from various sources such as inbound marketing leads, companies and associations lists, discovery, and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision-makers is essential. You will report to the CTO and be responsible for generating leads, developing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and offering demos to convince contacts about the product fitment. Your role will involve prospecting and generating new sales opportunities. You must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to identify and develop new business prospects through various channels like telephone, mass mailing, market research, walk-ins to industrial areas, and databases. Proactive follow-up with leads is crucial to success. Your responsibilities will include achieving and exceeding established monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. You will develop new business via telephone and mass communication, such as email and social media, to introduce Addnectar solutions and identify appropriate buyers within the target market. Following up on leads, conducting research to identify potential prospects, and determining key buying influencers are all essential tasks. Building and cultivating prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel will be key. Conducting needs analysis, determining prospects" pain points, and showcasing how Addnectar can address those needs are critical aspects of the role. Working with the CTO to develop and grow the sales pipeline and consistently meet quarterly revenue goals is a priority. You will manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached. Additionally, preparing and analyzing sales pipeline reports and dashboards is part of your responsibilities. Required experience and knowledge include a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred), along with mandatory experience in technology software sales. Experience in ERP (preferred), Webapps, Mobile App, SaaS, and outsourced software development sales within the US/UK is required. You should have 2-4 years of telemarketing and/or inside sales and lead generation experience, a proven track record of strong client relationships, and be willing to work in US/UK shifts.
