Job Description

Job Title: Rulestream Technologist Type - Contract Location - Remote Responsibilities: - Lead the automation of the engineering design process using Rulestream, focusing on creating a robust automation platform for dry gas seals. - Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to integrate all design work into Realstream, developing new user interfaces as necessary. - Drive the automation of 3D modeling processes to enhance product visualization and accelerate development timelines. - Manage the complete data flow from order receipt to order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. - Customize Rulestream applications to meet specific client requirements, handling product variations and options to devise the final product configurations. - Maintain and upgrade the Rulestream environment to ensure it is up-to-date with the latest features and security patches. - Provide technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Rulestream, with a comprehensive understanding of its capabilities and deployment. - Solid experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and systems. - Familiarity with 3D CAD software and engineering design principles. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Desired Skills: - A customer-centric approach with the ability to tailor solutions to individual client needs. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client-facing interactions. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy. - Experience with automating engineering processes, specifically for dry gas seals, is highly advantageous. - Familiarity with Realstream for creating automation platforms is a plus. Tools: - Proficiency with Rulestream and Realstream for engineering automation. - Experience with PLM tools and systems. - Knowledge of 3D CAD software for modeling and design. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
