Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Ruby on Rails Developer

to join our remote engineering team for a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong coding and debugging skills who can take ownership of features and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby on Rails code
• Ensure the delivery of defect-free code that meets product requirements
• Troubleshoot and debug issues quickly and effectively
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and product enhancements
• Contribute to the planning and execution of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
• Operate with minimal guidance while taking full ownership of your tasks and responsibilities
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with Ruby on Rails
• Strong understanding of Ruby, the Rails framework, and PostgreSQL
• Proven ability to follow software development best practices and design patterns
• Experience with version control tools like Git and platforms like GitHub
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently
