Ruby on Rails Developer

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Ruby on Rails developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in building scalable backend applications using Rails, with some working knowledge or interest in frontend technologies—particularly Vue.js. You’ll be involved in building robust APIs, integrating third-party services, and delivering elegant frontend experiences when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain reliable Ruby on Rails applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Build APIs and backend services that support various products
• Work with Vue.js on the frontend when required (mainly for internal tools or customer-facing features)
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to ship features
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails in a production environment
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Some experience or willingness to work with Vue.js
• Understanding of Git and version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Good to Have:

• Experience with background job frameworks like Sidekiq or DelayedJob
• Familiarity with frontend tools like Webpack or TailwindCSS
• Experience with RSpec or other testing frameworks
• DevOps exposure (Heroku, AWS, Docker) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
