Job Description

Job Title: RTO Executive

Job Location: Manesar, Haryana

Job Summary:

The RTO EXECUTIVE FMCG is responsible for managing the return of unsellable, expired, damaged, or excess inventory to suppliers in line with company policies and vendor agreements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring vendor compliance, and minimizing losses. The executive works closely with Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Finance teams, as well as external platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart), to process claims for damaged or lost goods efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the return of goods to vendors based on reasons such as damage, expiry, tampering, overstock, or quality issues.
  • Verify product return eligibility by reviewing supplier agreements, shelf-life terms, and product condition.
  • Liaise with the

    Quality Control team

    to ensure timely and accurate transfer of stock for inspection, grading, and further RTV processing.
  • Update inventory management systems (IMS, FILFLO) to reflect returned stock and maintain real-time stock accuracy.
  • Raise and track claims for

    lost, damaged, or tampered products

    on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart) and through traditional distributor channels.
  • Follow up with vendors and platforms to ensure timely receipt of credits, replacements, or reimbursements.
  • Ensure safe and compliant packaging and shipment of return goods as per vendor and logistics partner requirements.
  • Generate RTV-related reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to monitor key metrics such as return volumes, credit recovery, timelines, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of expiry management, batch tracking, and damage categorization typical in FMCG operations.
  • Familiarity Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce return claim portals (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for interacting with vendors, internal departments, and external platforms.
