About The Opportunity

Join a focused pediatric care team delivering compassionate, evidence-based medicine to infants, children, and adolescents in Fazilka. This on-site clinical role places you at the front line of inpatient management, emergency response, and family-centered care in a busy children’s hospital.Role & Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluation and stabilization of pediatric patients in emergency and inpatient settings; escalate to senior consultants as required.
• Manage day-to-day inpatient care: prescribe medications, order and interpret investigations, and review clinical progress.
• Administer and oversee immunizations, routine pediatric procedures, and monitor post-procedural recovery.
• Respond to on-call duties and pediatric emergencies including resuscitation and airway management when needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records, handovers, and discharge summaries in line with hospital protocols and medico-legal standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, family counselling, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care outcomes.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• MBBS or BAMS degree with valid medical registration
• Clinical experience in pediatric inpatient or emergency care
• Pediatric emergency management
• Neonatal resuscitation
• Electronic Medical Records
• Infection control protocols
  

Preferred

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent certification
• Experience with immunization schedules and routine childhood vaccination programs
• Familiarity with district hospital workflows and pediatric triage
