Key Responsibilities:
Standards and Methodologies:
a. Develop and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
b. Ensure that project teams adhere to established processes and methodologies.
c. Provide training and support to project managers and team members on project management practices.
d. Conducting periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
e. Soliciting feedback and implementing enhancements based on lessons learned.
Reporting and Communication:
a. Prepare regular reports on project performance for stakeholders and senior management.
b. Raising Red Flags for miss in documentation.
c. Continuous improvement in processes & reports.
d. Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders and senior management.
Governance Oversight:
a. Establish governance structures and processes to oversee project and program execution.
b. Define roles, responsibilities, and decision-making authority within the PMO.
c. Monitor compliance with governance policies and procedures and initiate corrective actions as needed.
d. Monitoring & closing the Resource Exit Processes from PMO & Delivery end.
Tool Support:
a. Maintaining Project Management Tool(Redmine) & Resource Allocation Tool(PMO Tool) as Super Admin.
b. Stakeholder Support for Redmine & PMO Tool.
c. Maintaining Access Control.
d. Creating Back-dated allocations post validating the request.
Resource Management:
Resource Allocation:
i. Monitor and adjust resource allocations based on project requirements and priorities.
Resource Planning:
i. Develop and implement effective Resource planning strategies.
ii. Anticipate resource needs and proactively address potential shortages or excesses.
Bench Management:
i. Publishing bench report to the management for business needs.
ii. Regularly assess and forecast the potential bench strength based on project pipelines.
iii. Collaborate with Account managers, Sales Managers, project managers to align bench capacity with upcoming project requirements.
Skillset Mapping:
i. Maintain a comprehensive database of skills and expertise within the organization.
ii. Match project requirements with the appropriate skills from the resource pool.
Resource Optimization:
i. Optimize resource costs by ensuring efficient utilization.
ii. Track and manage expenses related to resource acquisition and development.
Resource Forecasting:
i. Collaborate with Account managers, Sales, project managers BU heads to forecast resource needs.
Risk Management:
i. Identify potential risks related to resource availability and allocation.
Communication and Collaboration:
i. Foster effective communication within the resource management group and with other departments.
ii. Collaborate with project managers, Account managers, Sales, HRBP, IT to address resource-related challenges.
Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of 4+years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in the IT services industry.
Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing diverse operational functions.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
In-depth knowledge of IT services and industry trends.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
