Job Description

Oversee the implementation of environmental management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Monitor environmental performance metrics and trends to detect emerging issues and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental risk management into business planning, operations, and decision-making.
Develop and deliver training to employees on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to environmental compliance and risk management activities. Bachelors degree in Environmental science, Sustainability, or a related field
Minimum 3 years experience as an Environmental Specialist and related domains (Waste Management)
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience handling confidential information
Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed document
5+ years experience in environmental management, compliance, or risk assessment
Proficient in risk assessment methodologies and data analysis techniques
Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Ability to draft project charters & conduct Gap analysis
Certification in environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) is preferred
