Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operations & Documentation: Responsible for developing and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, product notes, and internal documentation • Policy Development: Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and business objectives • Collaborate: Work across functions (Risk, Compliance, Operations) to create structured processes for efficient NBFC operations • Report to the Promoter directly

Documentation & Policy Creation:: • Develop and implement SOPs across various departments (Risk, Ops, Compliance) • Draft internal policies ensuring adherence to RBI guidelines and industry best practices • Create detailed product notes for SME loan products (LAP/UBL) Process Improvement: • Analyze and refine existing processes to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance • Ensure that all workflows are streamlined, and that documentation is accessible and up-to-date for internal teams Collaboration: • Work with the promoter & legal/compliance manager to ensure alignment of processes and policies across the NBFC

Skills, Abilities & Know-how • Documentation & Policy Development: Experience in writing SOPs and internal policies Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation • RBI Compliance Understanding: – Understanding of the RBI guidelines, particularly related to NBFC operations • Project Management: – Ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and accuracy – Experience in identifying opportunities for automating repetitive processes, especially related to documentation and policy workflows • Stakeholder Collaboration: – Ability to gather feedback on existing SOPs and policies, and incorporate suggestions for improving usability and clarity

Preferred candidate profile

6-8 years of experience in financial services, preferably within an NBFC or banking environment • Familiarity with SOP creation, documentation, and policy drafting
