Revenue Analyst

As a Revenue Analyst at Snowflake, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting of revenue. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing validation to ensure completeness and accuracy of data flowing from CPQ and Finance ERP to RightRev (Revenue accounting system). - Conducting month-end close activities such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and back-end controls to ensure revenue accuracy. - Accounting for transactions with multiple performance obligations in accordance with ASC 606 and the Company's internal revenue policy. - Assisting in internal and external audits by generating PBCs and addressing inquiries. - Developing and maintaining desktop procedures for revenue accounting activities. - Contributing to the design and documentation of SOX controls to mitigate financial statement risks. - Aiding in the development, testing, and documentation of internal controls. - Assisting with systems implementation, finance projects, and collaborating with IT to resolve system-related issues. Job Requirements: - 4+ years of revenue accounting experience under US GAAP. - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. - CPA / Chartered Accountant certification preferred. - Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Salesforce, Workday, or other ERP systems preferred. - Experience working with a revenue accounting system (e.g., RevPro, RightRev) is advantageous. - Ability to solve problems from both an accounting and systems perspective. - Capability to manage competing priorities, meet strict deadlines, and work overlapping shifts with US time zones. - Attention to detail and proactive management of work streams. - Quick adaptation to changes in a dynamic organizational structure and business processes.
