• Provide outpatient and inpatient consultation for obstetrics and gynaecology patients, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Perform and supervise deliveries and operative procedures including Caesarean sections and common gynaecological surgeries with safe perioperative care.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and emergency obstetric situations; lead rapid clinical decision-making and referral when necessary.
• Interpret ultrasound findings (including transvaginal scans) and coordinate diagnostic investigations to inform treatment plans.
• Mentor junior clinicians, nursing staff, and trainees; contribute to protocol development, clinical audits, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Participate in community outreach and patient education programs to promote maternal health, family planning, and early detection of gynaecological conditions.

Must-Have (Qualifications)

• Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MD/MS/DNB) — prior senior consultant experience preferred
• Active medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council / NMC and eligibility to practice in India
• Prior experience in a senior clinical/consultant role with demonstrable leadership in maternal care and surgical management
• Available for on-site shifts in Kotma, MP, and able to commit to agreed consultancy schedule
  

Preferred

• Experience leading clinical audits, guidelines implementation, or departmental quality programs
• Experience in community maternal health initiatives or government scheme coordination
• Advanced training or certification in minimally invasive gynaecological procedures (hysteroscopy/laparoscopy)
