Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A. CLEANLINESS

1) Responsible for Store Cleanliness (done by HK, Monitored by SM) ● Store floor and shelves must be clean. ● Dusting of products to be done daily. ● Follow Deep Cleaning as per schedule.

B. INVENTORY

Responsible for following inventory processes at store:

1) Inward-Outward ● Defined process for stock Inward & Outward followed

2) Stock opening ● Stock opening should be started by 11:00am at the latest ● Boxes must not accumulate on floor

3) Stock Return ● As per the list, remove inventory from the shelves and pack them, to be sent back to warehouse.

4) Global Count ● Global count to be done every week, as per schedule

5) Asset Management ● In case any equipment’s are not working (E.g.: light, camera, computer, printer, etc.) then get it repaired immediately ● Follow Maintenance Checklist

6) Visual Merchandising: ● Stock to be displayed according to VM plan

7) Non-Trading Goods: ● Ensure stock is maintained as per the Checklist ● Refilling of goods to be done as per the checklist

C. DISCIPLINE

1) Grooming ● Follow grooming standards strictly. ● Ensure staff follows grooming standards.

2) Checklists & Reports: ● All checklist to be filled as defined in SOPs ● SOP’s of stores must be strictly followed

3) Staff Management ● Manager should solve staff issues, keeping HR in loop, and if necessary, inform Owner & get the issue solved. Do not keep the issue pending. ● Give extra attention on new comers. Provide them on-the-job training, so that they get accustomed to work faster. ● Take decisions as per the HR policies. Consult with HR if unsure of the policy. ● Ensure staff is disciplined on floor (E.g.: No gossiping, No shouting, etc.)

● Talk to everyone with respect. Address your seniors and customers with Sir/ Madam ● Manage Staff Weekly-Offs, Holidays and Lunch timings (daily) and make the weekly off calendar on the defined days. ● Lunch Management: Ensure that at any time at least 60 % of the total staff and 60% of each department staff is always present on your floor. Do send everyone together for lunch.

4) Security ● The security guard should cross check the number of pcs in each customer bag and tally with the bill. ● Customer walk in count should be maintained accurately. 5) Selling Time & Planning Time: ● Ensure operations are conducted in Planning Time ● Concentrate only on sales during Selling Time ● Refer Management Calendar to know your Selling Time & Planning Time ● In case of doubtful customers, keep an eye on them. If any pilferage by customer call Security immediately and take appropriate action. Be extremely polite with the customer unless proved guilty. Apologize profoundly if the customer found innocent.

D. SALES

1) Monitor Sales Targets ● Motivate sales team to achieve store targets. ● In every review meeting, discuss the targets and motivate them to achieve. ● Promote cross-selling and up-selling

2) Customer Service ● Ensure each customer is given service ● Staff must approach the customer when he/she walks in their section for help.

3) Non-Buying ● Frequently check non-buying customer and the customer who is willing to look for more variety. ● Note down customer requirements and keep follow-up for same with warehouse and customer.

4) Training ● Staff training to be conducted every week, as per the training calendar ● Induction training to be conducted for every new staff

5) Cash Counter: ● Cash Tally on daily basis ● Follow Cash Counter SOPs ● Train new cashiers

6) In-Store Events ● Make all the arrangement for the event one day in advance ● Ensure adequate staff is present on the event day
