Your strong analytical skills and collaboration with various teams will ensure optimal stock availability and assortment planning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute seasonal merchandise financial plans to drive sales and profitability. - Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand and manage stock levels. - Optimize inventory allocation across stores to ensure availability while minimizing markdowns. - Monitor and adjust Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets to align with business goals. - Track key performance metrics (KPIs) such as sell-through rates, GMROI, and stock turns. - Analyze sales trends to identify bestsellers, slow-moving items, and opportunities for replenishment. - Work closely with retail teams to understand store-specific demand and optimize stock distribution. - Support omnichannel strategies, ensuring the right balance between offline and online inventory. - Coordinate product launches and promotions with marketing and store teams. - Partner with the buying team to develop an optimal assortment plan. - Work closely with supply chain teams to manage product flow and ensure timely deliveries. - Utilize retail planning tools and software to enhance decision-making. - Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and efficiency. - Implement automation and data-driven approaches to optimize stock management. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Retail Management, Merchandising, or a related field. - 8 - 10 years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, or inventory management. - Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP, and planning software. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing retail trends.
