Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Head – Retail to spearhead end-to-end marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive customer acquisition, enhance in-store footfall, build brand equity, and ensure marketing efforts align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive campaigns for store launches, seasonal promotions, festive offers, and local marketing.
  • Work closely with the senior management to support expansion plans and market penetration.

2. Brand & Communication

  • Build and enhance the brand presence across offline and online channels.
  • Oversee creative direction and ensure brand consistency in messaging.
  • Lead internal and external communications, including PR, influencer marketing, and CSR branding.

3. Digital & Social Media

  • Lead digital marketing efforts (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, etc.).
  • Optimize website and app visibility, user engagement, and conversions.
  • Track and analyze performance of all digital campaigns and implement improvements.

4. Retail Promotions & In-Store Marketing

  • Plan and execute marketing activities to boost store footfall and increase revenue.
  • Coordinate with category and store teams for product promotions, merchandising, and displays.
  • Ensure effective Point-of-Sale (POS) communication and visual merchandising strategy.

5. Market Research & Insights

  • Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct consumer research and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Identify new market segments and innovation opportunities.

6. Team & Budget Management

  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, agencies, and vendor partners.
  • Define KPIs and track team performance.
  • Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget and ensure ROI on campaigns.

Required Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or related field from a reputed institution.
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail/FMCG/e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns across multiple locations.
