Job Description

The pay range for this position starts at $17.09/hr and is based on the level of relevant experience and qualifications above the minimum requirements for the role.

Reserve: a position working an average of 20 hours per week (anywhere between 40-999 hours per year).

Job Summary

The Retail Fulfillment Associate is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipping of all E-Commerce and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) orders. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong skills in the product fulfillment process for both wine and merchandise. By delivering efficient, accurate service, the Fulfillment Associate plays a key role in extending the high level of guest service and satisfaction that drives brand loyalty. This position ensures that off-site guests experience the same exceptional service as those visiting in person, with every order handled to exceed expectations.

Essential Job Duties

  • Work with our order entry team to prepare, pick, and ship orders.
  • Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure accurate and timely package delivery to our guests.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and speed in handling guest orders.
  • Maintain wine and merchandise inventory in a neat, orderly, and safe manner. 5. Assist with special projects such as preparing freight shipments and other large orders.
  • Receive, unload, and stock deliveries from the Distribution Center and Wine Production.
  • Assist with accurate on-hand inventory counts for our products.
  • Communicate with appropriate teams regarding shipment delays and errors. 9. Provides support for all areas of the Fulfillment Center.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education, training, and/or certification(s) preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse shipping and receiving setting. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience working in a high-end retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping software is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to clearly, concisely, and effectively convey information verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail and quality; must be able to prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and solid work history with verifiable references.
  • Must be proactive, able to take initiative, and able to exercise good judgment.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to visually identify merchandise, color recognition, and distinguishing features.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and turning while supporting packages of various weights.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds frequently.
