Job Title: Head Retail & Channel Finance

Role Overview:

Retail & Channel Finance professional

Key Responsibilities:

1. Retail Finance Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement

    innovative, customer-centric retail finance schemes

    in partnership with NBFCs, banks, and fintechs.
  • Launch digital retail finance solutions across the dealer network to enhance customer experience and loan turnaround.
  • Negotiate and secure

    monthly and festival-based schemes

    with financiers to drive loan affordability and sales volume.
  • Monitor

    retail penetration rates

    by region, product, and financier; optimize performance based on MIS insights.

2. Channel Finance & Dealer Funding

  • Establish and manage

    inventory funding tie-ups

    to support dealer working capital needs.
  • Ensure timely credit availability and manage exposure across dealer networks.
  • Maintain dealer financial health by evaluating balance sheets, payment cycles, and risk indicators.

3. Financier Relations & Onboarding

  • Lead tie-ups with

    national and regional NBFCs/Banks

    for retail and channel financing.
  • Execute

    MOUs and policy documents

    ensuring alignment with business terms and compliance standards.
  • Expand reach by onboarding new financiers and digital lending partners.

4. Sales Enablement & Dealer Support

  • Collaborate with regional sales and dealer teams to resolve finance-related issues.
  • Conduct

    training and upskilling programs

    for dealership finance executives and inside sales teams.
  • Drive participation in

    loan melas, financier meets, and joint promotional campaigns

    with banks/NBFCs.

5. Reporting, Analysis & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain detailed

    MIS dashboards

    for tracking financier performance, scheme utilization, and ROI.
  • Provide periodic insights to sales leadership for informed business decisions.
  • Ensure documentation, compliance, and audit-readiness of all financing arrangements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in

    Retail & Channel Finance

    (2W/EV segment preferred)
  • Strong

    Financier & Stakeholder Management

    skills
  • Proven ability to

    negotiate & structure finance offerings

  • Strong understanding of

    credit processes, lending norms, and working capital management

  • Proficiency in

    MIS creation, analytics, and reporting tools

  • Team leadership

    and capability development experience
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Minimum

    10 years of experience

    in

    automobile finance, BFSI, or mobility sectors

  • Exposure across

    multiple regions (Nort, West, South, East India)

    with strong understanding of regional business nuances will be an added advantage.
