Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Handling cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and other teller operations.
Ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer requests.
Cross-selling bank products such as savings accounts, current accounts, term deposits, credit cards, insurance, and other banking products.
Managing customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
Authorising teller transactions as per defined limits and ensuring adherence to audit & compliance guidelines.
Driving service-to-sales conversions through customer engagement and need-based selling.
Coordinating with relationship managers and other branch staff to achieve branch targets.
Maintaining cash limits, ensuring error-free transactions, and daily branch balancing.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with prior experience in branch banking operations.
Good understanding of cash, customer service, and banking processes.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to identify customer needs and offer suitable banking solutions.
Should be sales-oriented and target-driven.
