Role Overview: As a skilled and experienced Retail Architect, you will lead the design and execution of innovative retail environments that align with the brand standards and business goals. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, overseeing quality control, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, and driving continuous improvement in design and delivery processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive architectural project plans, including design timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. - Lead end-to-end execution of retail projects from concept through construction, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. - Produce and review detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software. - Ensure all designs meet client requirements, brand guidelines, building codes, and regulatory standards. - Conduct quality checks at various project phases to ensure high design and execution standards. - Allocate and manage internal design resources and external consultants/freelancers. - Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring timely and quality delivery of architectural services and materials. - Identify inefficiencies in design or project management workflows and implement improvements. - Introduce new tools, methods, or processes to enhance overall team productivity and project outcomes. - Work closely with departments such as marketing, operations, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless project alignment with business objectives. - Present and communicate design intent to stakeholders, both internally and externally. Qualifications Required: - Education: Degree in Architecture, AutoCAD Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in retail architecture or architectural design, with a focus on commercial or retail projects. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, ideally familiar with other design tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes. - Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, effective leadership and team collaboration skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
