Resort Manager

As the Resort Manager at Soulacia Resort, your role will involve overseeing all aspects of the resort's operations to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will lead a dedicated team in delivering authentic jungle experiences with modern comfort. Reporting to the management, your responsibilities will include managing guest experience, staff, sales & marketing, finance, and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations such as front office, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, and safari coordination. You will drive revenue through strategic sales and marketing initiatives, maintain high standards of guest service, and manage online reputation. Budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with local laws and resort policies will also be part of your duties. Leading and mentoring departmental heads and staff, as well as liaising with vendors, travel agents, and park authorities, are crucial aspects of the role. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Strong leadership, team management, guest relations, operations, and marketing skills are essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are required, along with a preference for experience in wildlife/luxury resorts or remote locations. Prior experience managing boutique resorts, comfort in remote settings, and an understanding of jungle lodge operations and eco-tourism practices are highly desirable.
