Resident Construction Manager

As a Resident Construction Manager at WABAG in the water treatment industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) on-site. Your role will involve planning, executing, managing people, construction activities, and client billing. You will be accountable to the customer and management for ensuring the timely completion of construction, commissioning, and handover of the plant according to project milestones. It will be your responsibility to ensure strict adherence to quality requirements, contractual procedures, and ISO standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager (PM) to achieve budgeted costs, maintain profit margins, and monitor and control contractor performance. Additionally, you will need to implement best practices in materials management, including planning, receipt, inspection, storage, controls, and consumption. Building and nurturing strong customer relationships will be crucial for the long-term success of the company. Motivating and developing the site manpower and team, implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) plans, and ensuring statutory compliance for labor and local body requirements are also key aspects of this role.
