Reservations Agent

As a Reservation Agent at Villa Retreat, nestled in the heart of Kodaikanal, your role is crucial in managing guest bookings and ensuring a seamless reservation experience. Your responsibilities will include handling inquiries, updating reservation systems, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate booking records. We are seeking a tech-savvy individual who is comfortable with using technology, quick to learn new software, and efficient with online booking platforms. While prior experience in reservations or customer service is valued, what we prioritize is your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities - Manage Reservations: Handle bookings via phone, email, and online platforms accurately and efficiently. - Guest Communication: Respond promptly to inquiries, provide detailed information, and assist with special requests to enhance the guest experience. - Coordination: Collaborate closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments for smooth check-ins and seamless guest stays. - Customer Service: Offer personalized recommendations, resolve guest concerns, and ensure a high level of satisfaction from the first interaction. - Reporting & Documentation: Generate and maintain daily reports on occupancy, cancellations, and special requests while keeping reservation records up to date. Requirements - Tech-savvy: Comfortable using reservation software, online booking platforms, and digital tools. - Prior experience in hotel reservations or customer service (preferred). - Strong communication skills in English (Tamil is a plus). - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. - A passion for guest relations and delivering exceptional service.
