Internship Opportunity: Research Intern – AI, Policy & Global Governance Organization: Future Shift Labs Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India Remote Duration: 3–6 months (with potential for extension based on performance) Stipend: Based on qualifications and duration About the Role: Future Shift Labs invites applications for the position of Research Intern to support its pioneering work at the convergence of artificial intelligence, public policy, and global governance. The role offers the opportunity to engage with thought leaders and contribute to impactful, policy-driven research. Key Responsibilities: ● Conduct in-depth literature reviews on topics including AI governance, ethics, regulatory frameworks, and emerging global trends. ● Assist in data collection, synthesis, and analysis for ongoing research initiatives. ● Contribute to the drafting and editing of policy briefs, research reports, and knowledge publications. ● Participate in relevant workshops, forums, and policy dialogues involving leading experts and stakeholders. ● Collaborate with internal teams to enhance tools such as the AI Policy Tracker and other digital research platforms. Preferred Qualifications: ● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Computer Science, Law, or allied disciplines. ● Demonstrated research acumen and analytical rigor, with keen attention to detail. ● Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for policy and academic audiences. ● Familiarity with AI technologies and their socio-political implications is highly desirable. ● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
