Research Engineer

As a Research Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for conducting research and literature surveys on medical devices. You will also be involved in building proof of concepts and developing technical solutions for various research problems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing state-of-the-art algorithms using sensor fusion techniques. - Validating prototypes and conducting product testing. - Providing clinical inputs to the R&D team for implementation. - Working closely with internal product teams to understand and address their requirements. - Collecting data from experiments or simulations and using mathematical formulas to evaluate it. - Developing, testing, and integrating software designs for embedded systems. - Testing the code and implementing bug fixes. To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: - Experience in Embedded C, Python, and Matlab. - Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and sensors to build prototypes. - Experience in algorithms implementation on real-time data. - Expertise in Digital Signal Processing and Statistics. - Experience with algorithm development and related tools. - Good analytical skills and a research mindset. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams comprising clinicians, designers, and engineers.
