Research Engineer

As a Software Developer, your primary responsibility will involve developing software. You will be tasked with designing, developing, debugging, and testing complex software in various fields such as systems software, software development tools, applications, drivers, numerical methods, UIs, and web applications. A typical academic background for this role would include a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computational Science. Your daily tasks will include supporting development activities as directed by your Leader/Manager, writing and maintaining code based on organizational requirements, and having proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies. Collaboration with product managers, partners, and business groups will be essential to categorize and describe solutions for business and technical needs. It is critical to stay updated with the latest technologies in the domain and utilize this knowledge to enhance product features. You will be responsible for developing and managing features/escalations to ensure alignment with business, client, and partner strategies. Effective communication is key as you will need to explain the status and value of proposed designs/solutions to partners and analyze and present technological solutions and alternatives when necessary. Furthermore, gathering technical requirements and specifications from customers and partners, and delivering solutions that meet project timelines, quality standards, and cost considerations are crucial aspects of this role.
