Research Associate

As an Associate in the Research department at our company located in Kolkata, your primary role will involve collecting, summarizing, and synthesizing business information specific to the Private Equity and Venture Capital domain. This will include profiling funds, writing management profiles, creating and updating portfolios, as well as tracking and analyzing various PE/VC-backed transactions such as Mergers, Acquisitions, Leverage Buyouts, Management buyouts, and early and late-stage funding rounds. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, summarize, and synthesize business information related to the Private Equity and Venture Capital domain. - Profile funds, write management profiles, create and update portfolios. - Track and analyze various PE/VC-backed transactions like Mergers, Acquisitions, Leverage Buyouts, Management buyouts, and early and late-stage funding rounds. Qualifications Required: - Academic background in finance, commerce, accounting, or economics. - Preferred qualifications include B.com (Hons), B.sc (Economics), M.com, B.B.A, M.B.A (Finance Major), and M.sc (Economics). - Strong domain knowledge related to Private Equity, Debt, Venture Capital, Mergers, Acquisitions, etc. - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to handle targets and deliver research tasks within stringent timelines. - Immediate availability for joining is preferred.
