Role Description

We are seeking a Research Associate for our Custom Synthesis department in a full-time, on-site role located in Navi Mumbai. The Research Associate will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, and optimizing chemical compounds to meet project objectives. Key tasks include conducting literature reviews, developing efficient synthetic routes, analyzing data using advanced instrumentation, and maintaining detailed experimental records. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the timely delivery of solutions for chemical and drug development will be a critical component of the role.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Synthetic Chemistry, including multi-step synthesis, route development, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Medicinal Chemistry principles and the ability to design and develop focused compound libraries.
• Practical experience in using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, and IR for characterization and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and research skills, including literature reviews and tackling complex synthetic pathways innovatively.
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and laboratory documentation practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams and adhere to timelines.
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field; industry experience is an advantage.
