(Ref.: 533245) (to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, social sciences, sport science or related disciplines. They should have a good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English; good communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of basic statistics; proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); and English and Chinese word processing. They should be a self-motivated and organized team player. Experience in research and using SPSS for data analysis is highly preferred. A keen interest in psycho-oncology research would be an advantage.The appointee will conduct cancer patient recruitment in clinical settings; perform face-to-face/phone assessments with patients; assist in data analysis and compiling progress report; and perform other duties as assigned. He/She will work closely with the multidisciplinary team from HKU Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care on an implementation study. He/She may be involved in CBT-based intervention studies for cancer patients.
