Research Assistant – Chemical Industry

🎯 Role Summary:

The Research Assistant will work closely with our R&D team to support research activities, conduct laboratory experiments, analyze results, and maintain high safety and quality standards in the lab. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, scientifically curious, and eager to grow in a chemical research environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting reaction experiments, testing, and chemical analysis as per project requirements.

• To carry high vacuum distillation, fractional distillation.

• Prepare chemical solutions, samples, and reagents for research activities.

• Collect, record, and analyze data with accuracy and maintain proper documentation.

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure calibration records.

• Follow safety protocols, handle chemicals responsibly, and maintain a clean lab environment.

• Support senior chemists in developing new formulations and improving existing products.

• Prepare test reports, summaries, and documentation for internal review.

🧪 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or related discipline.

• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, analytical techniques, and chemical handling.

• Strong observation, analytical thinking, and reporting skills.

• Ability to follow SOPs, technical instructions, and maintain lab safety standards.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, lab documentation, and data entry is an advantage.
