At PlebC, we are on a mission to make affordable and quality healthcare accessible to everyone, transcending geographical barriers. With 68.84% of India’s population living in rural areas, access to early diagnosis and quality healthcare is still a challenge. To bridge this gap, our team is developing TORUS (Tele-Operated Robotic Ultrasound System) – a revolutionary system enabling "Diagnosis from a Distance." If you're passionate about mechanical design, robotics, and social impact, this is your chance to contribute!


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • 3D Modeling & Design: Create precise and detailed 3D models using Fusion 360 and other CAD software.
  • Parametric Design: Develop modular designs using constraints and parameters.
  • Should be able to prepare 2D drawings per ASME Standards with sound knowledge on GD&T
  • Should be able to understand design problems and bring up optimal workable solution
  • Prototyping & Simulation: Assist in prototype development, assembly, debugging, and functional testing.
  • CAM & Manufacturing: Convert designs into CNC toolpaths using Fusion 360's CAM capabilities.
  • Procurement Support: Identify, source, and coordinate procurement of mechanical components and fabrication services.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, leveraging Fusion 360’s version control & collaborative tools.
  • Documentation: Prepare manufacturing drawings, material selection, and process documentation.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate well with cross-functional team members, be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, and contribute positively to the engineering community.
  • Problem-Solving: Innovate and develop practical solutions for design challenges.
  • Communication: Effectively convey design ideas through sketches, renderings, and documentation.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma Holder in relevant fields.
  • Strong expertise in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or any other CAD tool.
  • Experience in product design (preferably in healthcare or robotics) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Passion for healthcare technology and commitment to social impact projects.
