Research Analyst

The Research Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights that support strategic decision-making. This role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research, preparing reports, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to internal teams or external clients.

Collect data from primary (surveys, interviews) and secondary (industry reports, databases) sources.

Clean, validate, and interpret large datasets using statistical and analytical tools.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer behavior, and economic data.

Create forecasts, SWOT analyses, and benchmarking studies.

Prepare research reports, visual dashboards, and executive summaries.

Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.

Work with product, marketing, strategy, or finance teams to understand research needs.

Translate business objectives into research plans and deliverable timelines.

Manage multiple research projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Maintain documentation of methodologies, sources, and findings for transparency.

Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, R, or Python.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Familiarity with market research techniques and business analytics.
