Research Analyst

As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for the following key areas: - Rigorously liaising and handling queries related to deriving accurate and realistic commodity pricing of iron ore. - Ensuring adherence to IOSCO principles regarding transparency of pricing development mechanism, detailed processes, and escalation procedures for handling client grievances. - Providing training on all aspects related to compliance with pricing guidelines. - Developing high-caliber content by continuously following the Content Development Guidelines (CoDeG) and conducting periodic audits of articles. - Ensuring the rectification of any identified drawbacks during the audit process. - Developing all periodic reports related to the specific commodity. - Regularly interacting with important Data Points/Partners (DPs) to maintain a high standard of working relationships and establishing new DPs. - Constantly initiating pricing inputs from new and different geographic regions to enhance the pricing process. Key Competencies required for this role include: - Being a high achiever academically, holding a B.E/B.Tech (preferably mech) and MBA from a reputed institute. - Possessing around three to four years of experience in the Iron & Steel industry, specifically dealing with iron ore. - Being knowledgeable about both domestic and global iron ore markets. - Having experience in interacting with all stakeholders involved in pricing of iron ore. - Demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a team and skillfully handle people for successful interactions with DPs. Other Essential Skills Required: - Excellent verbal communication skills with a high fluency level in spoken English. - Strong written English skills for developing high-quality business communications, such as analytical articles, insights, emails, and reports.
