Role Overview: You have the opportunity to join Astellas Pharma Inc. in Bangalore, India, as a key member of the Reporting Technology chapter. As the Value Team Captain within the R2R pod, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing BPC/SAC reports for managerial reporting, regional consolidation, and financial planning. Your role will involve providing technical expertise in SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP S/4HANA, while also demonstrating exceptional leadership skills in coordinating communication across various business functions and managing reporting priorities for new developments. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the Reporting Technology chapter and Value Team, offering guidance on reporting development and enhancements. - Design and implement scalable and automated reporting solutions for managerial, statutory, and financial planning needs. - Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, Operations, and other business units to ensure efficient meeting of reporting requirements. - Prioritize reporting needs based on business objectives, ensuring timely delivery of new developments and enhancements. - Oversee statutory regional consolidation processes to maintain compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in reporting. - Serve as the Business Product owner for SAP BPC, SAC, and SAP S/4HANA, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimizations in collaboration with DigitalX. - Establish and enforce best practices in financial reporting and system usage to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. - Drive continuous improvement in reporting methodologies and automation efforts, participating in wider projects for Finance. - Collaborate with FP&A teams, master data, financial CoEs, and other teams within CFO function and DigitalX to enhance efficiency and compliance. - Mentor, train, and support team members and business users to improve reporting efficiency and adoption. - Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging reporting technologies. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and planning, with expertise in SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP S/4HANA in a global company. - Strong leadership skills with experience in coordinating cross-functional communication and managing reporting priorities across all countries. - Proven ability to translate business needs into technical reporting solutions. - Expertise in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting. - Ability to design, build, and optimize data models and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). - Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA for financial data and reporting. - Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.,
