Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Remote (Preferably from Mohali, Chandigarh).

About the Role: This is a full-time remote position based in our Delhi office.

Kisan of India is expanding its horizons with Kisan of India – Punjabi, and we’re looking for a passionate Reporter to join our team! If you have a keen eye for news, love storytelling, and are enthusiastic about agriculture and rural issues, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

●      Report on agriculture or allied sectors, rural development, and related topics for the Punjabi-speaking audience

●      Travel and conduct field reporting to capture real stories from the ground

●      Conduct interviews with farmers and experts

●      Research and verify information to ensure accurate and credible reporting

●      Collaborate with the editorial and digital team to create engaging content for the digital platform

●      Cover events, government schemes, and innovations in agriculture

●      Create video reports or scripts for multimedia content

●      Occasionally write news articles, feature stories, and human-interest pieces in Punjabi related to agri or allied sectors

What We’re Looking For:

●      Excellent Punjabi speaking, reading, and writing skills

●      Experience in digital news, agriculture/rural reporting is a plus

●      Strong storytelling and reporting ability

●      Knowledge of Punjabi socio culture, local issues and rural economy

●      Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
