Role Overview

Inventory Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with brands and vendors to ensure timely order placement, confirmation, and fulfillment.
• Plan and manage inventory for perishable SKUs with a strong focus on freshness, expiry, and wastage control.
• Monitor stock movement across warehouses and ensure seamless warehouse to store connectivity.
• Track inbound deliveries, proactively resolve delays, and manage vendor TATs and SLAs.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations and central planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and high fill rates.
• Maintain accurate procurement and inventory data; build and manage reports and dashboards using MS Excel or using SQL on Metabase.
• Identify risks related to stock-outs, excess inventory, or expiry and take corrective actions promptly.

We hope you have...

• Strong command of

  MS Excel

  (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).

• Intermediate SQL skills

  – ability to write queries using joins, filters, aggregations, and subqueries to extract and analyze inventory and procurement data.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.
• Prior experience in

  perishable inventory planning or procurement

  is a plus.
