Repair Supervisor

As a Repair Supervisor at Procor Limited in Regina, Saskatchewan, you will play a crucial role in fostering a successful and productive workplace for all employees. Here are some key responsibilities you will be expected to undertake: - Demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's cultural beliefs and purpose to create a positive work environment. - Utilize and teach the Daily Management System Tier 1 and Tier 2 processes to identify obstacles, lean tool opportunities, and facilitate actions with your team. - Ensure that the team understands Plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how they impact their work. - Provide leadership, coaching, and assign work to meet production schedules. - Evaluate employee performance, ensure required certifications are up-to-date, and enforce safety, quality, and production goals. - Enforce contractual requirements, shop rules, and policies consistently and fairly. - Conduct daily Toolbox Meetings to keep the workforce informed. - Manage supply spend, waste, labor schedules, and employee attendance. - Perform hold point inspections and provide accurate reporting of labor and material supplemental repairs. - Conduct performance evaluations and ensure employees have the necessary training and certifications. - Other duties as assigned. Desired Skills And Expertise: - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Working knowledge of railcar repair techniques and regulations. - Familiarity with relevant railcar standards and regulations. - Previous experience in railcar repair facility management. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint. - Proven safety performance record. - Union relations experience. - Decision-making and problem-solving abilities. - Leadership, relationship building, collaboration, and results-oriented skills. - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and work in various environmental conditions. - Valid Driver's license required. - Legal ability to work in Canada.
