Procor Limited, the manager of Canada's largest private tank car lease fleet, operates an extensive repair network across the country. The fleet encompasses over 30,500 special purpose tank and freight cars, serving various markets including petroleum, petrochemicals, plastics, chemicals, fertilizers, and food. Currently, Procor is seeking a Materials Manager to join the team in Regina, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production demands. Responsibilities include managing stock replenishment, providing training on material management, ensuring material availability to meet production needs, coordinating inventory cycle counts, reviewing on-hand values, reporting on inventory requirements, managing daily material reports, maintaining monthly reporting on material scrap, and participating in supply chain audits. Additionally, the Materials Manager will partner with scheduling to ensure material requirements are met, lead physical inventory counts, participate in contract reviews, and perform other assigned duties. Desired skills and expertise for this role include advanced computer skills in Excel and Word, strong analytical abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and being organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
