Position Overview

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accounting records for multiple U.S. clients.
• Prepare annual financial statements and ensure timely completion.
• Perform book cleanup, corrections, and catch-up accounting where required.
• Finalize books and ensure all accounts are accurate and tax-ready.
• Collaborate with the tax team and support annual tax filings by providing complete, error-free financials.
• Communicate professionally with U.S. clients regarding queries, clarifications, and status updates.
• Ensure compliance with standard accounting principles and internal quality-control procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and preparing financial statements.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP principles (knowledge of U.S. GAAP is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with book cleanup and finalization.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results on deadlines.

Education

• CA intermediate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce.

Location & Work Hours

• Must be based in India.
• Fluency in English.
• Available to work
