  • Reliability Analysis:

Conduct reliability assessments (e.g., FMEA, RCM, Weibull analysis) to identify critical assets and potential failure modes.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA):

Lead or participate in RCA for recurring equipment failures, process upsets, and major incidents, identifying underlying causes and recommending sustainable solutions.
  • Predictive Maintenance (PdM):

Implement and optimize PdM technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic testing) and interpret data to predict failures.
  • Maintenance Strategy Optimization:

Recommend adjustments to PM schedules, inspection frequencies, and maintenance tasks based on reliability data and analysis.
  • Asset Performance Monitoring:

Monitor asset performance data (e.g., OEE, MTBF, MTTR) and trend analysis to identify deterioration and opportunities for improvement.
  • Spare Parts Optimization:

Work with planning and stores to optimize critical spare parts inventory based on failure rates and lead times.
  • Life Cycle Costing:

Conduct life cycle cost analysis for new equipment procurement and major overhauls.
