Job Description

As a Relationship Manager-Branch Banking in the Rural Banking department, your primary responsibility will be to build, develop, and deepen relationships with Rural Banking accounts while ensuring top-notch service delivery to customers. You will play a crucial role in expanding the liabilities business in Rural markets by generating leads, opening accounts, and understanding the unique needs of each customer. Your focus will be on client acquisition, fostering household-level customer relationships, and maximizing the lifetime value of each association to meet organizational objectives efficiently. You will be expected to assess and evaluate client needs to identify revenue-generating opportunities through cross-selling products that align with their lifestyle, risk profile, and requirements. Facilitating quick disbursal of business loans based on client needs assessment will also be a key part of your role. It will be essential to activate accounts promptly and maintain their health, with a strong emphasis on driving CASA growth within the Rural Banking business. Delivering exceptional customer service is imperative to increase the share of wallet among the population and boost business volume in the catchment area. Resolving customer queries and issues in a timely manner, meeting individual and branch sales targets through new business sales, referrals, and account retention are vital aspects of your responsibilities. Monitoring collections efficiency, conducting field audits, and customer verifications to ensure account quality will also be part of your routine tasks. Keeping abreast of the latest market trends, competitor practices, and customer feedback to refine the growth strategy will be crucial. You will be expected to recommend process enhancements to enhance service efficiency and quality across the branch network. Additionally, managing a team of field officers, focusing on their development, and implementing livelihood advancement and community development initiatives will be integral to your role. As a leader, attracting and retaining top talent for key roles within your reporting structure, monitoring employee productivity, hiring quality, and attrition rates, and providing necessary support to enable teams to achieve growth targets will be essential managerial responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a graduation degree in BA / BCom / BBA / BSc / BTech / BE or any other graduate discipline and possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in rural banking.
