Position Overview

We are seeking a Associate to join our India office in New Delhi. As Associate for India BIS Licence, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and assisting foreign & domestic manufacturers in obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals to comply with Indian Regulations. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process, ensuring clients' products meet the stringent requirements set by the Bureau of Indian Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients seeking India BIS licences.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their business needs.
• Manage third party communication for licence requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of the latest updates and changes in the Indian regulatory landscape related to BIS standards.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' products to ensure compliance with applicable BIS standards.

Application Process:

• Prepare and submit comprehensive BIS license applications on behalf of clients.
• Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all required documentation.
• Coordinate and Support BIS Audits at Client sites.

Project Management:

• Implement project plans, ensuring milestones are met within specified timelines.
• Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their BIS license applications.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, technical, and logistics, to streamline the licensing process.

Sales & Marketing Support

• Support in sales & marketing activities of the company.
• Travel required for meetings with client or regulatory authorities.

Qualification Criteria and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in an Engineering (Electronics, Electrical or related field).

• 3-5 years of work experience with BIS certifications (Scheme I, II and X).

• In-depth knowledge of Indian standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant product categories and compliance with Indian Standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for regulatory compliance & project management.
