Role Summary
Virohan Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Lead to anchor its regulatory intelligence, state-level engagement, and compliance-readiness across the allied healthcare education ecosystem.
The role is ideal for someone who can translate complex regulations into clear business implications and enjoys operating at the intersection of policy, law, and operations.
Candidate Profile: What makes you a Strong Fit?
You are a strong fit if you have:
● 4+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, public policy, law, government engagement, healthcare administration, compliance, or higher-education regulatory work
● Preferred Degrees: Law (LLB/LLM)
● Ability to decode Acts, rules, circulars, council procedures, and notifications, and translate them into actionable steps for business teams
● Experience working with or navigating councils, ministries, universities, accreditation bodies, or regulatory agencies
● Strong analytical skills with a structured problem-solving approach
● Excellent written documentation and communication skills
● Comfort working cross-functionally with academic, operations, and leadership teams
● High ownership, independence, and execution discipline
Core Responsibilities
A. Regulatory Intelligence and Compliance Interpretation
● Track, interpret, and analyse regulations across state and national allied health councils,
MoHFW, NSDC, and other stakeholders.
● Break down laws, rules, and notifications into clear compliance actions for internal teams.
B. Business-Regulation Mapping and Internal Advisory
● Convert regulatory requirements into operational checklists, process flows, and decision
pathways.
● Maintain a comprehensive repository of regulatory documents, interpretations, and advisories.
C. Stakeholder Engagement and Liaisoning
● Build and maintain working relationships with officials in health councils, ministries, universities,
and skill councils.
● Support filings, approvals, follow-ups, and documentation required for state-level and national-
level compliance.
D. Issue Resolution and Cross-Functional Support
● Participate in resolving regulatory bottlenecks (certifications, seat approvals, program filings).
● Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and precise submissions and responses.
