Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee academic and administrative functions across the university.
  • Manage admissions, examinations, and academic record systems.
  • Ensure compliance with UGC, AICTE, BCI, PCI, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate meetings of statutory bodies (Board of Management, Academic Council, etc.).
  • Supervise issuance of degrees, transcripts, and other academic documents.
  • Implement university policies, ordinances, and governance frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate data, reports, and statutory documentation.
  • Lead ERP-based academic administration and digital transformation.
  • Support audits, accreditation, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Promote efficient administrative practices and inter-departmental coordination.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks (Ph.D. desirable).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in university administration or equivalent leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of UGC norms, university governance, and higher education systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP / MIS tools for academic management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in handling statutory and accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA).
  • Commitment to institutional excellence, discipline, and accountability.
