Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Valuation Management

Conduct and review technical valuations for residential, commercial, and under-construction properties.
Ensure that all property appraisals comply with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Perform site inspections and verify property parameters (location, dimensions, construction quality, legal clearances, etc.).

2. Team Management

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technical officers/field engineers across multiple branches.
Provide guidance on complex valuations and conflict resolution in assessments.
Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time) and SLA (Service Level Agreements).

3. Vendor & External Valuer Management

Empanel and manage third-party valuers/agencies.
Review and audit external valuation reports to ensure consistency and compliance.
Conduct periodic training and quality checks on empaneled vendors.

4. Risk & Compliance

Identify and escalate technical risks related to property valuation and construction approvals.
Collaborate with Credit and Legal teams to support due diligence and decision-making.
Ensure documentation and record-keeping in line with audit and regulatory requirements.

5. Process Improvement & Reporting

Recommend improvements in the valuation process to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Track and report key metrics valuation trends, property price benchmarks, construction quality issues, etc.
Maintain regional MIS and support audits and senior management reporting.
