Deputy Manager-TCC-EOD/BOD

Job Purpose

• The Automation Expert will lead the transformation of manual End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) processes into a fully automated, efficient, and error-free system. This role demands strong programming skills, deep knowledge of broking operations, and the ability to design and implement robust automation workflows that enhance operational stability and scalability.

Key Result Areas

• Convert all manual EOD/BOD checklists and operational tasks into fully automated scripts and workflows.
• Design, build, and maintain automation workflow tool systems to manage and monitor the EOD/BOD cycle.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented Python and Java code for automation scripts and applications.
• Oversee automated EOD/BOD workflow execution, ensuring sequential and successful processing without manual intervention.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues or failures within automated processes to minimize downtime and business impact.
• Collaborate with operations, development, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.

Preferred Profile: -

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience, with at least 4+ years in a technology broking or capital markets environment.

Skills Required

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Solid programming skills in Java.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation workflow tools (e.g., Control-M, Apache Airflow).
• Experience with database management (SQL), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial messaging protocols (e.g., FIX) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.

Domain Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of EOD/BOD processes, trade lifecycles, and operational checklists within a broking firm.
