REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

As a Sales Team Leader at The Economic Times, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales executives to drive business growth in the respective market. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring market coverage, meeting sales targets, creating revenue opportunities, developing 360-degree solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction for the ET Spotlight division. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the team of sales executives to ensure market coverage by meeting clients and ad agencies. - Aggressively chasing sales targets and maintaining the growth momentum of the division. - Proactively identifying revenue opportunities through competition analysis and creative thinking. - Understanding clients" business objectives, interpreting briefs, and formulating digital-first solutions on Times Internet platforms. - Collaborating with other Times Group entities for synergistic sales pitches. - Creating comprehensive marketing solution proposals, including budgets and rollout plans. - Taking ownership of project execution to secure client renewals. Qualifications required for this role include: - 12+ years of experience in Media sales, with Radio/Print/TV experience being acceptable. - Knowledge and experience in Brand Solutions is an added advantage. - Strong industry connections and good agency contacts are beneficial. - Ability to understand advertisers" needs and propose effective solutions. - Proficiency in deal-making, proposal creation, and costings. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and aggressiveness in meeting revenue targets.
